Like Father Like..Cat?

So Rhett and I got a new little kitty about a month ago, and he's almost 5 months old. Really cute, black and white American shorthair named Tony. We named him Tony because he's got a little white goatee on his chin and this air of "I'm cute, I'm lovable, I'm in charge, you all love me, and that's that." which reminded me of Tony Stark from Iron Man.

Now that we've had him a little while I'm starting to notice silly little things he does. When he sleeps and he rolls over or stretches, he will grunt or moan like a person stretching. Its pretty adorable sometimes, and other times he sounds like he's dying.

The best thing I've noticed is this. After being married for 6 months, I've come to terms with and gotten used to my husbands sleeping mannerisms. For example: if he is asleep and I am touching him, he will twitch, but only what I'm touching, be it his head, arm, hand, or even pecs (yes, he twitches his pecs). One time he fell asleep with his arms around me and ended up punching me in the stomach.

Anyway, Rhett also talks and mumbles quite frequently in his sleep. Upon crawling into bed after chatting with my family one night I was greeted with "Who goes there?!" and once was asked where I had put his bicycle. Another night he simple shouted duh-duh-duh over and over really fast for about 10 seconds. Its pretty hilarious and keeps me entertained.

Well, last night as I lay in bed with the cat by my feet (Rhett is still on his field op, so it's just me and Tony), he started twitching his arm that was touching my leg. I giggled and kept on trying to sleep. Then he let out a little grumble, and I giggled some more.

Then, the absolute funniest thing I've ever heard came out of that little kitty's mouth. He laughed. Like a witch! I could never describe that hilarious noise well over text, but it was something along the lines of "meo meo meo meo meo meooooow!"

I'm still laughing. Like Father like cat.
